We are seeking a half-time priest in charge (20 hours per week) beginning on July 1, 2018. The individual must speak and write good clear English. The ability to speak and write Japanese would be a great asset but not required. It would be beneficial for the individual to learn Japanese for conversing with the congregation and delivering some of the Sunday Service liturgy material in Japanese. Excellent listening and communication skills are essential. The sermon must send a clear message (based on scripture) connecting us to our daily lives if we are to reach and retain the current and future congregation. The priest in charge would help us grow in faith and lead us in reaching our goals.
