Forgiveness and reconciliation is at the heart of Jesus Christ’s teaching and life. At nearly every service, we make a corporate confession and the priest gives absolution in the name of Jesus Christ.
Sacramental confession is a grace-filled opportunity to privately confess to God in the hearing of a priest, who then pronounces absolution. This sacrament is treasured as an opportunity to grow in grace and conversion. Many people make confession on Ash Wednesday as part of their journey into the season of Lent. Many people go to confession monthly or as their conscience dictates.
A Holy Cross, confessions are made in the church by the Altar. To make your confession please make an appointment with our Vicar.
