HC Mochi Team at UBC.
A team of seven members from Holy Cross hosted a Mochi Workshop at the Staff Enrichment Day for the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at UBC on a sunny Wednesday afternoon on July 11th. We talked about what is mochi, how to make mochi, how to eat mochi, how to store mochi, and the importance of mochi to Holy Cross. UBC LFS staff and worklearn students had an engaging and fun time making and eating mochi, and as well getting to take home a pack of mochi with ingredients and recipes to eat mochi at home! Together we made kinako mochi, anko mochi, matsutake soup with mochi, grilled norimaki mochi and grilled ham & cheese mochi. Everyone had a super awesome time!
