Sunday, February 19 – Annual Vestry Meeting will be held right after service .
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the US and Canada decision to remove people of Japanese heritage from their homes and businesses and send them to internment camps. Bishop ask that on Sunday, February 19th you include prayers for those in the US and in Canada of Japanese heritage who were harmed by these orders of internment as well as for the protection of civil liberties in our country. Also Japanese Anglican church members pray for the seminarian who are Japanese ancestry. Also give open collection will be supported to them.
JC community workshop on the effects of Clergy Sexual Abuse
On June 15, 2015 the Anglican Diocese of Calgary and New Westminster gave their apology to survivors, their families, friends and the JC community for the sexual abuse perpetreated upon community children, mostly boys, by Goichi Gordon Nakayama.
Feb 18th, 2017 from 10 am to 2 pm at Tonarigumi 42 W 8th St, Vancouver
A workshop will be held and will include a panel presentation followed by lunch and community dialogue. Panellist will be :

* Bishio Melissa Skelton and Archdeacon Lynne McNaughton
* Dr. Satsuki Ina : Japanese American Psychotherapist and professor
